Bio-Acouis aims to address the significant problem of noise pollution in workplaces, offices, and educational facilities by replacing traditional synthetic acoustic materials with cost-effective, environmentally friendly, and renewable bio-based materials. The Workshop, taking place on April 16/17, 2026, aims to optimize socio-economic impact through the transfer of economic and business knowledge between industry and academia.

The V. International Architectural Sciences Congress was held in Antalya, Turkey, from October 29-31, 2025. A presentation was given at the congress on the topic of “Development of Lignin Modified Phenol-Formaldehyde Resins: Sustainability Effect in The Furniture Industry,” and the full text of the paper was published in the congress book.

On 12th and 13th September 2024, the Workshop ‘Bio-Acouis’ took place at the Wood Competence Center in Linz. All consortium partners and interested listeners were invited to attend. The workshop took place in Science Park 2 at the JKU Linz.

The project will provide activities for the structure and design of the Bio-Acouis website, which will be launched and available online. The project website will provide most of the advanced data (especially reports, scientific publications, demonstration activities and other distribution materials).
